Les Young from Hadrian’s Dry Stone Walls has trained and supervised volunteers to rebuild a large section of dry stone wall at Springvale.
Steel Valley Project undertake environmental work with volunteers at Springvale – they have planted a native hedge, helped with clearance of overgrown areas, and erected benches on site. Future planned work includes the creation of a pond area and cutting back trees that overshadow Springvale.
